Pt.# ECP878EX-N5 Explosion Proof Vibrating Horn is constructed of a heavy duty casting that has a heat flowed expoxy finish for corrosion resistance. This explosion proof horn is intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. Applications for this product are found in the oil and gas, and petrochemical industries, where high decibel vibrating horn signals are required. Two mounting brackets are provided on either side of the unit for wall mounting. The housing is tapped on one side for 3/4" (19mm) conduit to allow for field wiring installation. For use in dusty, hazardous atmospheres where a distinctive, urgent signal is required for timing, scheduling, paging and general alarm applications. Typical applications include use in mines, petroleum plants, gas plants, grain elevators, flour mills, paper mills, textile plants and tankers.as well as many others. This assembly suits various Class I, Division 2 offshore and onshore applications. Available in 120 Volt AC, includes 2 xenon strobes with an intense 15 joule flash intensity (select colors above when odering). This version is constructed in GRP components and aluminum back plate, the sounder is electronic and allows for field selection of 1 tone from 27 available.
